the obverse of this note features the portrait of Vincas Kudrika, Lithuanian violinist and writer who composed the Lithuanian national anthem "Tautiska giesme". Alongside the portrait is the image of Vytis, a knight with a sword atop a horse, from the Lithuanian coat of arms. On the reverse is the Lithuanian Bell of Freedom. Originally cast in North America in the early 20th century, the bell is a symbol of Lithuania's independence
