(x) Bank Melli, Iran, [2 notes] front and back Proof 500 Rials, ND (1934),
this set of front and back 500 Rial Iranian banknotes were printed by the American Bank Note Company in 1934, having commissioned the second series of Bank Melli Iran banknotes in 1933. The front design presents a harmonious mix of blue and pink tones. Alongside Farsi text, a portrait of Reza Shah is presented wearing a Pahlavi hat. Additionally, a depiction of Mount Damavand is showcased. Mount Damavand holds great symbolism in Iranian culture and often appears on Iranian banknotes. It embodies the spirit of resistance and determination, standing as a symbol of Iran's stability through the landmarks unchanging nature. The back in contrast is a solid deep blue, displaying Farsi text. The Iranian coat of arms, which includes the crown, sun, lion, and sword is also showcased,
