the front has been printed in a vibrant red with pale yellow, blue, green and purple hues. Central to this banknote is a portrait of Reza Shah, the founder of the Pahlavi dynasty, pictured wearing a Pahlavi hat. Farsi text appears on the front of the design as well as on the back. Additionally, the coat of arms with the crown, sun, lion and sword can be seen at the centre of this vivid red design. Signed by Abdolhossien Hajier and Hossein Ala'a,
