(x) Bank Melli, Iran, 500 Rials, ND (1932-34), red serial number A022085,
this exceptional 500 Rials banknote was issued between 1932 and 1945. The front contains hues of blue, green and pink along with Farsi text. To the left, an oval portrait with a guilloche frame presents Reza Shah, the founder of the Pahlavi dynasty. On the right, an image of Mount Damavand is outlined with ornate guilloche. Mount Damavand holds great symbolism in Iranian culture and often appears on Iranian banknotes. This historical, natural landmark embodies the spirit of resistance and determination, standing as a symbol of Iran's stability through the landmarks unchanging nature. Signed by Ali Alamar and Kurt Lindenblatt. The back presents guilloches and a deep blue design. At the centre of the back is a circular image of the coats of arms with the crown, sun, lion and sword,
