(x) Imperial Bank of Persia, Colour Trial Specimen 10 Tomans, ND (1924-32),
printed by Waterlow & Sons, London, between 1924 and 1932, following the Imperial Bank of Persia's request for the company to commission the 1, 5, and 10 Toman banknotes. The front of the banknote features Farsi text and a portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, the longest-reigning Qajar monarch from 1848 to 1896. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar is depicted in military uniform and a feathered fez, signifying his role in the military and royal Persian heritage. The front exhibits deep orange, green and brown tones, accompanied by ornate guilloches, adding to its exquisite design. This note is distinguishable by the red stamp performed by hand and reading SPECIMEN WATERLOW & SONS LIMITED LTD. Hole punched three times. On the back English text reads THE IMPERIAL BANK OF PERSIA. This banknote is an exceptional specimen note that carries the symbolism of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar's long reign and the historical significance of the Qajar dynasty,
