Campeche Provisional 5c., cancelled in Carmen with 15 March 1877 datestamp, paper faintly toned as usually found, touched up near the design, barely detracting from this rarity. Only eight examples off-cover have been recorded by Follansbee in his census. Bloch-Müller certificate, 2024 MEPSI certificate. Scott 1, $2,000.
