1866 "Maximilian" Issue
Various Districts 1866-1867 "Maximilians" assembly comprising 25c. blue proof (small thin confined to one corner), 251 stamps (both lithographed and engraved), representing all denominations (7c. to 50c.), and five attractive covers. The lithographed stamps include, among others, 7c. (15), 50c. (40), and 74 engraved stamps, with any districts, including Mérida, Guanajuato, Apam, Mexico, Veracruz, Querétaro, Córdova, Oaxaca, Puebla, Chalco, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Tepeji del Río, Guadalajara, Cuernavaca, Ixtlahuaca, Orizava, Colima, Aguascalientes, Campeche, Morelia, etc.; also including suboffices. The covers originate from Morelia, Querétaro, Puebla, Veracruz, and Zacatecas. Scott 26-34, $5,135 for the stamps, not including the proof and covers.
