1864 "Eagles" Issue
Morelia ½r. to 4r., assembly of 53 stamps, all but three used, from all periods, with various consignments represented. Notable examples include: ½r. Lilac/Gray (11) and 4r. Green (3, one from the 1st Period, NF $175). Sub-offices are represented by Puruándiro and Pátzcuaro. Also included is a scarce cover from Pátzcuaro, 1r. consignment 17-1865 sub 30, with three margins and one slightly touching at left. While there are some occasional faults, the overall condition is good, with many stamps showing full margins or margins on three sides. Scott 20-24, $1,053 as singles., ,
