Tepeji del Río-Mexico District ½r. pair on cover front, featuring a Mexico overprint from the direct shipment, with large margins and tied by a faint red cancel. A horizontal filing fold runs through the stamps but does not detract from the overall fine appearance. Only 561 stamps were sent in the direct shipment. Scott 1; NF $1,200 as singles off cover.
