1856 Issue
Mazatlán Group of five covers, all showing attractive cancellations (all but one in red ink) and mostly featuring good margins, including two covers from Mazatlán, one with a pair of ½r. Blue and the other with 4r. Red single, both addressed to Durango. Two additional covers from Cosalá display the spectacular floral cancel in red, one bearing a strip of four of ½r. Blue and the other a 2r. Green First Plate with plate line at right. The final cover originates from Culiacán, with a pair of 2r., a very uncommon usage. Scott 1, 3, 4; NF $348 as singles off cover.
