1856 Issue
Jalapa Group of four items including two covers, a spectacular cover front and three stamps on piece. Covers include: ½r. Blue two pairs (good margins all around, on repair tight at right) tied by Jalacingo cancels. The other cover has a 1r. Yellow tied by Papantla cancel (margins all around, tight on right. The cover front has a spectacular official cachet and a pair cancelled Perote (not tied) with good margins all around. The single off-cover stamps are used on single pieces and cancelled at Perote (2r. Green), Atzalán (2r. Emerald) and the very rare Tlatlauquitepec cancellation (½r. Blue). Scott 1-3, 3b.
