Aguascaltes 2r. Yellow Green, a well-margined example on an entire letter to Guadalajara dated March 19, 1864, featuring a well-struck cancellation that does not tie the cover, which is typically found thus due to the shape of the cancel. The date on the cover confirms its authenticity. According to the Mazepa sale, this is the only known cover bearing a 2r. from this district; no census is available to us. In excellent condition. Scott 3; NF $650 as a single off cover.
