1862 (17 Sep.) envelope to Provincetown, Mass., showing good to fine "paid/at/st vincent", 19mm. despatch c.d.s., rated by American red crayon "4" (the only such recorded example) and with adjacent Boston (17.10) and arrival d.s. The reverse with st thomas (29.9) double-arc d.s. Part of the envelope removed at right on opening. Enclosed the original letter with a bill for $307.37. S.G. CC1 £950. Photo
