1859-1949 postal history selection (13 envelopes, one front) including 1865 (22 July) – pre stamp native envelope (136 x 58 mm) from Singapore to Yazd (Persia) with original letter inside the cover; 1859 (30 Dec.) stampless native envelope (174 x 69 mm) from Bombay to Yazd via Bandar Abbas with original letter inside the cover. It had been written on the back side of cover: “Ali’s manuscript received 22 Jumada al-Thani” equivalent to January 16 1860; 1875 (8 Aug.) envelope from Linga to Bombay franked on the reverse with ½a. blue tied by “2 / K-5” Linga duplex, with Bombay arrival. Usual mixed condition, a very difficult lot to replicate.
