1939 (17 Jan.) envelope to Tehran bearing India overprinted "bahrain" on K.G.V ½a. (2), 2a. and, on reverse, 3p. pair cancelled by Bahrain, Persian Gulf c.d.s. (stamps on reverse with red crayon) and a fine strike of boxed postage due handstamp applied in Bushire, the reverse with Bouchir and Teheran c.d.s. (24.1). An interesting cover as Iran did not accept stamps from Bahrain and treated this cover as unpaid. Photo
