1895 (17 Aug.) envelope registered to San Francisco, bearing 1892 set of four each cancelled with "rarotonga" c.d.s., showing a fine strike of the "cook islands/rarotonga/r" handstamp at lower left corner. The reverse with Auckland (26.8) and San Francisco (27.9) Registered d.s.; the adhesives with some usual stains though an attractive cover.
