1843 "Bulls Eyes"
An exceptional balance collection of cancellations on "Bull's Eyes", comprising over 75 examples, displaying a wide range of usages from different localities, including Rio de Janeiro, Parahiba do Sul, Paty do Alferes, Pindaminhangaba, Mangaratiba, Conceição da Ribeira, Lorena (Villa de), Guaratinguetá, Paranaguá, Campos with "S+I+DECAMPOS" and the oval type, Aldeia de S. Pedro, Santa Luzia, Areias, Capivari, São João del Rei, Vassouras, Sorocaba, Pitangui, Campinas, Ouro Preto, Cabo Frio, Sabará, Porto Alegre, Santa Catarina, Bahia (four different types), Grampará, Serro, Itabira, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Valença, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte (oval type and c.d.s.) and Diamantina; very rare examples -with ten or fewer than ten recorded- comprise Tamandua, Parnaíba, Bananal, Oliveira and S. Anna de Pirahy. Other features are thin papers, an "inutilizado" usage, and one multiple with 60r. pair. Condition is generally fine to very fine, featuring good to very good margins and appealing strikes for the most part. This is a highly unusual assembly and presents a great opportunity to acquire an excellent foundation for expansion; viewing is highly recommended. Photo
