1843 "Bulls Eyes"
Formiga (RJ). 60r. black, two examples displaying margins varying from clear to wide, one showing very fine strike of "villa nova da formiga" circular handstamp in black (Ayres 1600), the other with very fine "v.daformiga" straight-line cancel with some characters slanted to the left (usual small paper cracks caused by the strike). Only two "Bull's Eyes" are recorded with the circular handstamp, while just about five with the straight line. An exceptional duo. RHM 2. Photo
