1958 4c. essay for vignette on rough card (94x110mm.) executed in pencil, touched up in Chinese white with pencil annotations "DP", "Portrait facing right, light (?)", "Title panel to be same width as edges" and additional pencil sketch of crown in bottom right; also head and part vignette die proof in brown with ink insertions on thick card of a similar size. The latter with folds crossing the design otherwise a fine and most appealing pair. Photo
