1924-29 issue collection of Waterlow plate proofs, comprising Single Plate ½d., 1d. and 1½d. blocks of forty (20x2) and 3d. block of twenty (10x2), and Double Plate 2d., 4d., 6d., 8d., 10d., 1/-, 1/6d., 2/-, 2/6d. and 5/- complete design and companion head only proofs in blocks of twenty (10x2), all from the foot of the sheet with the complete designs showing imprint; the blocks with a range of printer's notations including order number, quantity required, corrections required with a few proofs with portions of the design circled for correction; all proofs sharing large 12mm. punctures or with individual smaller holes for security purposes. The entire collection neatly mounted and written-up on boards. Some with creases and other imperfections, otherwise a fine and unique group.
