Salisbury: 1913 (20 Mar.) local Salisbury envelope bearing 1910-13 Double Head 1d. carmine-lake tied by Salisbury Krag machine continuous obliterator (type K1.1); the vague address has received manuscript "try Gordon Avenue" in red ink, "Try c/o Cleveland" in red in, crossed through with "not" in blue crayon, boxed "non reclame/not claimed" in black, and boxed "return to sender/at the address given on cover" struck in purple and in black with further Salisbury (27.3) and (7.5) c.d.s. and a final strike (28.3) on the reverse.
