1845 (23 June) entire letter from Colesberg (written on postscript) to the Berlin Missionary Society, Berlin "Care of T. S. Watermeyer Esq., Capetown", the rate mark changed from 2/- "Unpaid" to "2/8"; the reverse bearing straight-line "ship letter" and London transit c.d.s. (25.9). The long letter is written in a small hand. Some reinforced paper splits but generally in a good state of preservation. A fine missionary letter
