1954 composite stamp-sized essay of the issued 2/- design with the central vignette hand-painted in green, black and Chinese white on paper which has then been applied over a die proof printed in green leaving the printed profile of the Queen showing. The value and country name have been hand-painted above and below the vignette, the essay then mounted onto thick grey card (95 x 105mm.), exceptionally fine; unique and of the highest exhibition calibre.
