1923-46 collection of covers (28) including 1930 envelope from Bahamas via Antigua to Barbuda bearing Bahamas War Tax 3d. block of four and ½d. pair with "first flight/nassau-barbuda" and "first daily flight/nassau to miami/1930" together with similar cover; 1930 (Dec.) Air Mail envelope to Jamaica bearing 1921-29 ½d., 2½d. (2), 3d. and 1/- with "paa" label; 1931 (Jan.) envelope to British Guiana endorsed "First Air Mail, Antigua - French Guiana" bearing 2½d., 4d. and 1/- with French Guiana receiving d.s. on reverse; 1931, three envelopes with "from antigua/special flight do-x/pan-american airways cooperating as special gents" cachet to New York, New Jersey and Norwich; 1931 (13 Aug.) envelope from Trinidad to Antigua bearing 3d. and 4d. with boxed "do-x/special flight/pan american airways/co.operating special/agent/trinidad to u.s.a."; 1931 (18 Aug.) Air mail envelope marked "per do. x." used within Holland bearing 15c. pair and 1c. with three strikes of "extra luchtpost verzending" DO-X cachets; incoming envelopes from America (8), some bearing stamps of Antigua on arrival and returned to sender, El Salvador, Cuba, Haiti, French Guiana and Jamaica, all with flight cachets; and undated Air Mail envelope to England carried on 'Yankee Clipper which crashed on 1943 (22 Feb.), struck with boxed "damaged by sea water" in violet. A fine and varied group.
