1886 1c. slate composite essay with printed legend,, cut down 1876 definitive 1c. and printed cut down arms of colony affixed, the latter surrounded by hand-painted motto, and dated "feb 1st 86", plus cut down die proof of this badge in black on glazed card, affixed to piece (50x50mm.), marked "26 Leads", dated "Mar 9" and further marked in red ink "B. Guiana, P. Card plate, May 1.86". Photo
