The "Caspary" 12 Cents Pale Blue with Intact Frameline
12c. black on pale blue Type C, initialled "E.D.W.", cut square with circular frameline intact (very close at foot), cancelled by Berbice double-arc d.s.; pinhole at left and slight thinning at top, neither of which affects very fine appearance. Only nine cut square examples are recorded in private hands, of which just two exhibit the margins complete. S.G. 7I, £40,000. Photo
