c.1927-29 A selection of thirty autograph notes on the theme of peace and the League of Nations from members of L'Academie Francaise on large, numbered leaves; signatories include: Alfred Baudrillart, Rene Bazin, Pierre Benoit, Henri Bordeaux, Henri Bremond, Eugene Brieux, Joseph Bedier, Henri Benstein, Louis Bertrand, Abel Bonnard, Paul Bourget, Andre Chevrillon, Charles Maurice Donnay, Rene Doumic, Edouard Estaunie, Claude Farrere, Goerges Goyau, Gabriel Hanataux, Edmond Haraucourt, Camille Jullian, Amiral Lacaze, Heri Lavedan, Auguste-Armand Duc de La Force, Pierre de La Gorce, Georges Lecomte, Charles Le Goffic, Emile Male, Pierre de Nolhac, Georges de Porto-Riche and Marcel Provost.
The majority offered with transcriptions of the French and English translations.
