1633 (20 Dec.) two leaf printed document headed "By the King. A Proclamation concerning Gold-weights.", declaring that Sir Thomas Aylesbury has been tasked with the creation of certain "Blancke Weights, Graines and halfe Graines". Both leaves with old archival tape at top otherwise remarkable fresh and of great interest.
Also 1797 King George III printed Act of Parliament over twenty-three pages headed "An Act to enable the Governor and Company of the Bank of England to purchase certain Houses and Ground contiguous to the Bank of England"; a very early compulsory purchase order.
A good pair.
