1916, 26th September - Typed pass, part manuscript, to "Allow the bearer Lord Reading to view the wreckage of the airship at Billericay and Little Wigborough" on notepaper of GHQ Home Forces, Whitehall and issued by Major-General Shaw, General Staff, Home Forces. Lord Reading, then Lord Chief Justice, went to view the crash site of the L32 Super Zeppelin airship that had crashed on 22nd September with 22 members of the German crew killed.
