1717-1795 Remarkable collection of illustrated trade billheads used by London traders invoicing their wares. These businesses supplied coffee, tea, chocolate and "all sorts of grocery", cheesemongers, lace, "Oil-man to HRH the Princess Dowager of Wales", knife cases, sealing wax using "genuine spermaceto oil", together with a range of ten billheads (the masthead only, printers proofs?) covering suppliers of wines, brandy and rum, tea, jewellery, millinery and fancy dress, sop and confectionery by appointment to HRH the Duke of York (lightly laid down on card).
