Royal presentation silver table box with the cypher of Prince George, Prince of Wales affixed to the lid, surrounded by a blue enamel Garter, and engraved INDIA 1905-6 below. A note accompanying the box indicates that it was presented to Edward Statter Carr (1857-1940), India Forest Department, Conservator at Assam 1902-1906.
Hallmarked for 1905, makers mark JB/LW (9x5.5x2.5 inches)
