Egypt - Return from India
1906 Postcard of Government House, Karachi, with an autograph message signed "Victoria Mary", Princess of Wales, written from Suez on the return voyage from India to England. She writes to Mrs Mackay, the housekeeper at Sandringham regarding a carpet for York Cottage. "We are now on our way home". With the original envelope bearing a GB 1d KEVII stamp cancelled in London with a datestamp peculiar to mail originating abroad.
