"postage postage" 2c. in yellow and blue, affixed to piece with manuscript "24 Cents, Alternative" and red ink initials alongside, the piece marked "british honduras/March 13, 1891" and "This Colour Scheme was submitted showing an alternative for the 24 Cents which was recommended as showing better contrast to the other values. The Crown Agents agreed and approved the scheme with the 24 cents alternative on March 17, 1891.". Photo
