½a. blue-green, 2a. vermilion, 8a. blue and 1r. grey, each handstamped "specimen" in violet (Type BEA1) and all affixed to 1890 (12 Nov.) letter from the Imperial British East Africa Co. to the editor of the Liverpool Daliy Post stating that the I.B.E.A. Co. would be obliged if the stamps could be reported in the Daily Post and the writer hopes that the Editor will find the stamps of interest; some old and wear/stains along folds. Photo
