1861 (13 July) Patriotic Flag cover addressed to Luxembourg bearing 30c. orange tied by boxed paid handstamp, with adjacent Chicago paid '18' (18.7) c.d.s. The reverse with Paris (3.8) and arrival Luxembourg (3.8) c.d.s. Envelope a bit cleaned, slightly reduced at top, the patriotic design has been cut out and replaced, still a very appealing patriotic usage of fine appearance. Exceedingly rare 1857 issue destination with P.F. Certificate (1991). Scott 38
