1893 (20 Mar.) envelope to England, 2a.6p. tied by "rangoon s.s. out/set no x" c.d.s. (Type D2) believed to have been used on the S.S "Mergui" which operated between Moulmein and Mergui between 1892 and 1895 calling at various coastal posts including Tavoy and Ye (see Proud "Burma" pages 834/5). Possibly the only recorded example of this Sea Post Office. A little creasing at left edge, otherwise fine.
