A wonderful specialised mint and used Keyplate collection housed in a well-filled Plymouth album, commencing with 2/6d., 5/-, 10/- and £1 perforated "specimen", a basic mint set of the 2/- to £1 followed by a detailed breakdown and analysis of the various printings laid out by value; 2/- mint (41) and used (23) many with plate flaws, 2/6d mint (57) and used (31, including pairs and blocks of four) and demonstrating a range of head plate flaws, 5/- mint (23) and used (12) with a good range of head plate flaws on both mint and used, 10/- mint (14) and used (14, including two blocks of four) and with various flaws, 12/6d. mint (13) and used (12) showing a variety of printings, head plate flaws and cancellations and £1 mint (15) and used (6) showing a number of printings and head plate flaws and including an example with an extremely light and weak head; overall a wonderfully detailed study of the issue with some scarcer plate flaws and printings noted, a valuable lot
