IA-IB, HA-HB, GA-GB horizontal pairs, all touched on one side, affixed overlapping and tied by superb Maltese Crosses in black to 1843 (17 July) entire James Buchanan autograph letter signed from Edinburgh to New York endorsed "Pr Steamer from Ipswich" with red markings applied in transit or on receipt additionally tying the pairs; IA and GB crossed by vertical filing folds.
