Plate 5: A predominantly used collection including two unused examples lettered ME, QB, both without gum, twenty-five used examples, one with red Maltese Cross (repaired tear at upper right), many with identified plate varieties including State 4, late 1841 repair with R.P.S. Certificate (1982), also eleven examples used on cover including pair from Dublin and 1841 (18 June) entire letter from Edinburgh to Glasgow with boxed "paid/1d. extra" handstamp in red. Generally fine and a good lot for the specialist
