CD and HL (original re-entry), close to large margins all round, tied by black Maltese Cross cancellations to entire letter addressed to Whitehall with "Fenchurch St." handstamp alongside and arrival datestamp of 1 Feb.1841 across flap on reverse; CD with tear into the design at left, the entire with neatly patched spike hole. A scarce entire from the period of experimental use of the black Maltese Cross. Photo.
