1759-1878 collection of fifty-four pre-stamp or stampless entires, well written up on pages, including 1759 with "landau", 1824 to Verviers with oval Aachen datestamp, 1825 to Amsterdam with ""essen" datestamp, 1827 with "greifenhagen" datestamp, 1850 (c.) from Halle to Charlestown with red framed Paid/25 cts. on arrival, 1858 from Dusseldorf to Machynlleth (Wales) with triangular "fr./1f. 75c." accountancy marking, 1862 registered from Coethen to Hannover, a good variety of handstamps and markings, etc., chiefly good to fine.
