1874 (11 Mar.) entire letter registered to Genoa, Italy marked "Via Suez", bearing 1866-78 6a.8p (2) and 1868 8a. cancelled by very neat "akyab/r-2" duplex (Type KD8), the reverse with framed "registered" Akyab (type R4) new earliest date by four years! (recorded in Proud from 17.11.78). A few usual minor faults and small part of the back missing, nevertheless an important exhibition piece. Photo
