1865 (11 May) entire letter from Rangoon to Genoa, Italy bearing 1856-65 2a. and 4a. cancelled by neat "B/156" obliterator (Type K6) and showing adjacent rare "rangoon post office p.d." handstamp in red (Type PD3) and lightly impressed and boxed , the reverse with Calcutta (19.5), Alexandria (29.6), Ancona (4.7) and Genoa (5.7) c.d.s. Usual soiling and a horizontal archival fold far from the adhesives otherwise fine and rare. One of only five recorded by Davis bearing this rare Paid handstamp. Photo
