1812-15 entire letters (2) from the same correspondence from a shipman to his sister addressed to England, both with very interesting contents; the first dated 1812 (10 July) with ...I now sit down to write to you from on board the Malabar, a Company Cruiser of 20 Guns; at anchor in Rangoon River, abreast a Birmian town of that name; where we have been since the 19th of March and expect to remain till now on December.... The other letter 1815 ...My last was from Rangoon, I might have said the fag end of the World, which place we left the middle of August....
