1899 10d. essay, entirely hand painted in green, deep blue and light blue, touched up in Chinese white with simulated perfs., executed on stamp sized card, with light pen cross cancellation and affixed to tracing paper (66x84mm.) numbered "4." and dated "march 15/89". A beautiful essay and one of only ten from the series produced by De La Rue. Photo
