1858 (9 June) envelope registered from Castle Street to Helensburgh bearing perforated 1d. red alongside 6d. pale lilac, both tied by boxed "castle/street" handstamps alongside Edinburgh d.s.; envelope marked "Registered" with part Glasgow d.s. and wax seal on reverse where flap is missing, otherwise a fine and attractive usage.
