George IV (1820-1830), Sixpence, 1826, Type 3, bare head left, rev. lion atop crown surmounting the floral emblems of England, Ireland and Scotland, edge straight milled, 2.82g, 6h (ESC 1662; Bull 2433; S.3815), with a distinctive grey-purple 'Indian' tone to obverse, the reverse otherwise vibrantly colourful and lustrous, virtually as struck, and with a most intriguing early 19th Century Spink pedigree
