George III (1760-1820), 'Duke of Northumberland' Shilling, 1763, GEORGIUS • III DEI • GRATIA • young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, angles plain, eight strings to harp, seven hearts, edge obliquely milled, 6.01g, 6h (Hawkins p. 410; ESC 1214; Bull 2124; S.3742), lightly flecked, otherwise attractively cabinet toned and lustrous, good extremely fine and much as issued
