George I (1714-1727), 'South Sea Company' Sixpence, 1723, laureate, cuirassed and draped bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, SS C in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 3.03g, 6h (ESC 1600; Bull 1612; S.3652), an OUTSTANDING example, with a light cabinet tone overlying mint fresh fields, choice, practically as struck, a little gem!
