Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1714, fourth draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.99g, 6h (ESC 1161; Bull 1412 ~ but only six strings listed; S.3617), a little light flecking both sides, otherwise cartwheel lustrous and subtle but colourful cabinet tone, practically as struck, very rare thus
